Yes, so, it has been over a month since I have last blogged? I guess it simply never really stuck with me. I always fear that this will simply become another "MySpace" emo blog; one which cries out of black-thorned roses with torn red petals. My dagger drips poison as it... hold up! There! Right there! I was about to do it.

Fewf. I am glad I escaped that one.

To cast that all aside, I have been busy a lot with schooling. The social aspect of living around people is a lot of fun as well. Being that last year I had but one friend of whom I could hang with, this is a lot different for me ^__^

I wrote four mid-terms not long ago. I did really well on all of them, which is just what I had expected. My girlfriend has also pormised to give me a hand with studying for my History of Art final, which, when it comes to those kinds of courses, I simply get slaughtered.

It's after mid-night o'clock, so I had best be off to catch some "Zzz"s.
Cheers,

"Fire! FIRE! Someone, hury, look up the number for 911! Oh, no, wait a minute. That thick back smoke filling the whole house is simply from Tim burning his toast you say? Well then... um... open the windows?"
- This has been a dramatization of the events that took place a chilling Thursday morning.

But, not all meals have been left out for the bunnies to eat (which they did not even eat). I made a killer stir fry this evening. The pork had marinated over night in some soya sauce and sliced ginger. This was the first meal cooked that occasioned extra comment - the other meals have been really good, but apparently not as good as my stir fry ^__^ - so this was really a great compliment. I guess one can learn simply from watching. My dad is a stir fry master! He tought me all I know.

In other news, I have fallen prey to the cell phone trap. I have a three year contract with Rogers, but it is a really great plan that I am on, and durring the summer, if I am not using my phone all too much, I can always cut my plan right back for the four months I would not be using it. All of my friends are envious of my new phone, and it is a really basic model. I am quite pleased with it. Actually, to tell the honest truth here, I have been quite pleased with the first week of my "new life."

Hiya,

Sorry everyone who tries to stop off and read my blog... I just got University, and life has been hectic. I tore the wires out of the back of my keyboard this moring, so I had to go out and buy a new one. I tried to fix my old one, but alas, I failed. It would have been $50 to fix it, and the new one I got was less than that, so I guess it kinda worked out that way. One day, when I go home, I will see if I can fix my broken keyboard.

I am living with three other people on campus; my girlfriend Emily, her friend Tim and my friend Arianna. It is interesting to see people in their own "homes." Their characters really shine through... you know, all the little things that you noticed about them before you started living with them just become so much more. It is quite interesting.

Aside from all of that "preparation" stuff for school, I have my first day of classes tomorrow. I am really excited! I have History of Art and Philosophy of Religion tomorrow. My other two courses this semester are Philosophy 100 (general studies) and Philosophy of Literature. I have no more than three hours of classes in a day, and some days I have no more than two! Life is good, and I love it.

I will try and keep you guys posted. *rolls eyes* Honest, I will try.

A shared shower with a blonde

I just shared a shower with a most beautiful blonde, and her name was Brahma. (Brahma would be a beer slightly lighter and more hopy than Corona) This communion is known as quote/unquote beer shower.

Do not scoff, you darned rapscallion! Hear me out, and in the end, I do swear to you, you shall cry out, “Hear, hear!” The coldness of the beer, combined with the hotness of the shower… the sweetness of the beer, versus the bitterness of soap… the complimentary relaxation found both in beer and shower… it is truly a “speacial thing, to be enjoyed in serenity and peace.” I thank my friend Dan, a prospective engineer studying at UBC for opening my eyes to the beer shower. I hope I have opened your eyes as well.

November 13 – So, you wanna know about me, eh? Well, what is there to tell? My name is Paul, but you already knew that. So, what more is there to tell? Am I dark, yes. But, what does that matter? The music I listen to does not – or at least should not – classify me. I do not classify others nearly as much as they do I. I am well spoken, but who cares? Screw them if they look right through my words and only see some mere punk! Fuck. I hate all of those corporate Ties that walk around, looking down on everyone they see. Well, what ever. We were talking about me, right? Me, Paul, goth, skid, punk, fuck up even! All words that describe – poorly – the same thing … me. I’m tall enough, sure. When I am told I should play basket-ball, I mearly scoff. Sure, I tried, when I was younger. My team sucked. No one wants me on their team – I am just not a team player. I do well in other fields, just not where jocks are involved. I excelle at the things I set my mind to. After all, I did learn how to open locks in only a few short nights. Not that I would ever enter somehwere where I did not belong, but I know that I know how, and that is enough for me. I do not carry my tools, but I always wonder what it would be like to just open someones door, you know? Not do anything, just open it. Maybe turn on one light … like in the hall or something. I’m not destructive – but all punks are, right? Anyway, I said earlier that I was well spoken, right? Well, to expand on that, you need first understand the true meaning of the word “manipulate.” Now, it is not enough to understand that dictonary noun. You need to know the word right down to it very heart. You need to know what it means in the deepest, most intimate parts. I can do more than just do as the word describes, and to try and teach someone to do what I can, would be imposible. I can twist words and hide so much in them that you will not be able to catch the half of it, unless you look for it. And then, your emotions would have to be involved, and you would look too far in in all of the wrong places. So, I can enter your homes and change the way you think, but what about your mind? Oh, I do not make false claims at being pshychich, but I can tell a lot about someone from only a little talk. I guess it would be because I am so well attuned to my own subtle dropping of hints that I can also pick them out of other people as well.

Now, and only now, do you begin to understand that a me, punk, an ass, a dick is more than what he may appear to be. Even if he is nothing more than one of those words to you, he still does have feelings you asshole. Take care not to make enemies. We are not all as accepting as I am. Make one wrong move, and your throat could be cut. Oh, and by the way, I carry a knife with me all the time.

Have a good night.

Although I have always said, “Don’t be silly! Internet people aren’t real,” a saying which has kept me far from blogs, I still feel I owe it to those who could happen upon this blog to know a little bit about myself.

My name is Paul, and I am starting University in a mere nine days. I will be taking five philosophy courses, one of which is a full years length. The other courses include things like “Philosophy or Art” and “Philosophy or Eastern Religion.” I am really quite stoked.

I will be living on campus with three other friends, one of which is my girlfriend of a year and a half. The other two friends are Arianna, whom I met two years ago when I start school here, and the other being Tim. I met Tim years ago. He was in my girlfriend’s French immersion class. Frenchies stick together, so I have knows him, as I said, for years.

What more is there to say? I am a writer, philosopher and metalworker. Before doing this blog entry I wrote of my vivid dream I had last night. I will share some of my other writings with the rest of you in due time. Mayhaps, after this entry I will make one showing my “darker half,” which was written for an open mic I used to go to last year.

Well, as I said, last night I had a very vivid dream; tonight I would like to capture another. I am off to bed after publishing this and “The Darker Half of Everyone.”

LiquidMonk's Random Ideas

Day two of this blog, and yet again, nothing to write. Perhaps next year I will be able to share some philosophy with all of you, but untill then, you do not wish to hear of my days of unemployment.
